Black Rock Speedway (8/14/09)

(Dundee, NY) Dayton Cote scored his career best finish on a dirt surface in the 4 Cylinder Stock in his 3rd start at the Black Rock Speedway on Friday, August 14th. Cote started 5th and drove straight to the front with Josh Wallenbeck and Dylan Cecce coming through the field with him. Cote held off challenges until lap 7 when Wallenbeck opened the door low and Cecce followed. Zach Teed manged to sneak past Cote in the final laps for the 3rd position. The race ended with the front runners nose to tail. Cecce scored the win, Wallenbeck finished 2nd, Teed finished 3rd, Cote finished 4th and Noah Herrington completed the top 5.

"I would like to congratulate Dayton on an outstanding job driving." said Dennis Cote. "We have been struggling with setup and we changed just about everything this week with help of Brian Elliott and Mark Wallenbeck and I feel with in the next few weeks we should be able to get Dayton's car dialed in enough to compete for a possible win."

This Friday, August 21st it is a 10 lap race for the Bandits division at the Black Rock Speedway.
