(Monroeton, PA) Dayton Cote made his second start at the Dunn Hill 2 Speedway on Sunday, September 20th. Cote started 5th in his 8-lap heat race and with in a couple of laps looked low, held his line and drove to the lead. Cote held off veteran driver Rich Powell following a caution on lap 6 to grab the win.
Cote started 8th in the 20-lap feature event. Cote charged through the field after clearing the 81 car and secured the 3rd position. On lap 17 a lap car slowed with an expired engine and Cote spun to avoid. Officials desided to give Cote his position back but for the 2nd straight week, overheating problems forced the 49 Ford Mustang pit side. Cote was credited with a 7th place finish.
